About The Position

Aloha Termite & Pest Control is seeking dedicated, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join our Oahu team as Termite Technicians. This is a skilled trade where you will apply your mechanical knowledge directly to the structure. The role involves gaining expert-level knowledge of various construction types found across Oahu, operating high-powered drills, power sprayers, and trenching tools, and performing site preparation and access by cutting, trenching, digging, or boring into foundations and soil. You will also install and maintain advanced baiting systems, perform technical calculations for product dosages, and take ownership of your service vehicle as your mobile office and workshop, ensuring daily organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• A valid US driver’s license.
• A clean driving record.
• A clean background.
• Mechanical aptitude; not afraid of power tools.
• Experience with construction or mechanical work.
• Ability to "think outside the box" when a job gets tough.
• Comfortable standing, bending, crawling, and maneuvering in tight spaces while handling heavy equipment.
• Reliability; show up on time, maintain a clean uniform.
• Attention to detail; follow label instructions and safety protocols to the letter.
• Clear communication skills; enjoy talking story with customers and explaining work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Gain expert-level knowledge of various construction types found across Oahu—including monolithic slabs, floating slabs, post-tension slabs, pier and beam, and stem walls.
• Operate high-powered drills, power sprayers, and trenching tools.
• Perform site preparation and access by cutting, trenching, digging, or boring into foundations and soil to create access points.
• Install and maintain advanced baiting systems like Sentricon and Trelona.
• Perform termite "math" to measure dimensions and calculate precise product dosages, ensuring compliance with label and law.
• Take ownership of your service vehicle as your mobile office and workshop.
• Ensure daily organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of your tools and equipment.
