About The Position

Dodson Pest Control is seeking a Termite Technician to join its growing team. The family-owned company serves customers in seven states and the District of Columbia and provides ongoing, intensive training. Pest control experience is helpful but not required. The role involves inspecting and diagnosing pest issues, delivering pest management services to residential and commercial customers, and applying pesticides safely and in accordance with labels and state regulations. The technician must complete scheduled training and work toward becoming a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator. The work schedule may need to be adjusted to meet customer needs, including occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Acceptable driving record and background check.
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height, with or without accommodation.
Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the pest control industry is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect and diagnose pest issues in residential and commercial settings.
Provide pest management services to residential and commercial customers professionally.
Maintain a customer-service-oriented approach.
Apply pesticides safely and effectively in accordance with product labels and state regulations.
Attend and complete scheduled training and become a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
Adjust the standard work schedule to meet customer needs, which may require occasional Saturday work.
