About The Position

Inspects buildings in accordance with state rules and regulations; schedules termite re-inspections, conducts termite re-inspections and completes reports; maintains vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Acquires licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, or local regulations.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license.
  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and/or thoroughness of work assigned, or make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., inspection).
  • Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or equipment.
  • Meet physical requirements and/or pass medical certification in compliance with state and/or federal regulatory requirements and company safety policies relating to carrying and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to an OSHA compliant respirator.

  • Attends technical training seminars to stay abreast of changes.
  • Maintains vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition.
