About The Position

Repauno Port and Rail Terminal, a Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure company (FTAI – NYSE), is a state-of-the-art LPG export facility located in Gibbstown, New Jersey. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age, and legally authorized to work in United States.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must possess, or can obtain, a valid TWIC card within 30 days.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) as well as required overtime/on-call support.
  • One-year terminal experience or similar industry experience.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required for effective interfacing with co-workers, contractors, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Process Technology preferred.
  • Control room experience preferred.
  • Cross functional candidates are desired.
  • Knowledge or experience in Emergency Response is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all truck, rail and cavern operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner while complying with DOT standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor all facility operations to ensure safety, quality, and quantity are compliant with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, as well as RPRT standards and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of plant infrastructure including plant utility, fire protection, personnel protection, and emergency warning systems.
  • Connects hoses and loading arms to ships.
  • Operates valves, pumps, and flare system as necessary for transfers to and from the Truck/Rail rack.
  • Calculates fill volumes for truck, rail and cavern using conversion charts.
  • Performs minor preventive maintenance tasks such as – but not limited to – lubricating pumps/valves/motors, valve and gasket changing, painting, fire extinguisher and safety shower/eyewash inspections.
  • Submits work orders for maintenance tasks outside of their skills and abilities.
  • Prepares equipment for maintenance including locking and tagging the equipment to ensure the safety of Authorized and Affected employees.
  • Plans, executes, and monitors applicable work permits.
  • Follows procedures and works safely at all times.
  • Provides accurate and complete data for all records and documentation required within specific job functions.
  • Completes all required training and training documentation as assigned and on time.
  • Works with other departmental functions to provide timely completion of prioritized job tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintains a safe working environment and promotes continuous improvement to the facility and its processes.
  • Exercises teamwork and flexibility when working with other business functions (Logistics, Engineering, Maintenance, Contractors and Supervision).
  • Maintains facility housekeeping to the RPRT standard.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • All Operators are expected to become cross trained and work all Operator positions.
  • Be available for on-call support for unplanned and incidental shift needs.
