About The Position

Under the direction of the Regional Logistics Manager, the Terminal Operator oversees terminal inventory, prepares daily and month-end inventory reports, unloads propane rail cars, oversees truck loading, and performs terminal maintenance and repairs while maintaining a safe working environment. The role may also involve loading rail cars and unloading LPG trucks, as applicable.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Computer experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment and may be subject to substance abuse testing under company policies.

• Previous propane rail car and truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Take and record daily temperature, pressure, and liquid-level readings of storage tanks.
• Complete daily inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Complete month-end inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Spot and unload propane rail cars and load rail cars if applicable.
• Oversee the loading of LPG trucks and unload LPG trucks as needed.
• Complete rail car and truck paperwork.
• Perform facility and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in achieving terminal operations expense goals.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Logistics Manager.
