About The Position

Cemex US is seeking a proactive Terminal Operator to support terminal operations. The role handles, loads, and ships products efficiently and safely, and performs equipment maintenance to help keep operations running smoothly. The operator manages daily terminal activities, supports logistics and customer service, maintains machinery, and contributes to team training.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
Positive, solution-oriented attitude and ability to work well with customers and colleagues.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, and operate equipment.
Experience in terminal operations or a similar industrial setting is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Certifications or training in welding, electrical work, or maintenance.
Experience in terminal operations or a similar industrial setting.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize daily terminal operations, logistics, and customer service.
Oversee the safe and efficient loading and unloading of bulk materials while following safety protocols.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on terminal equipment.
Follow Cemex safety standards, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with OSHA regulations.
Serve as a customer contact and resolve inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently.
Work with the logistics team to optimize schedules and resources.
Assist with training new team members.
