The Terminal Manager manages a bulk storage facility located in Anchorage that includes 8 product tanks, a truck rack, and a rail rack operation. This position manages a staff of 11 operators who work a rotating shift. The Terminal Manager is responsible for safe, compliant and efficient movement of aviation grade fuel, ultra-low sulfur diesel fuels, and gasoline into and out of the facility. Administrative responsibilities include planning, budgeting, documenting, assessing and improving site operations and implementing any operational directives issued by upper management. As a manager, this position is responsible for training operators and ensuring their compliance with operational processes, safety directives and best operational practices. Previous experience effectively supervising, training and managing the performance of others and working in the petroleum or related industries is required. Preference will be given to candidates available for a traditional full-time work schedule; however, qualified applicants interested in a rotational assignment (e.g., a one-week-on/one-week-off schedule or another approved rotation) will also be considered based on operational needs and business requirements.
