Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in railyard management or a related field.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the MS Office suite of products.
Strong work ethic and the ability to lead by example.
Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the railyard, ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient environment.
Actively participate in railyard activities, working alongside staff in all areas of operation, including train performance, safety, and maintenance.
Lead the terminal to meet KPIs, including Lifts per Hour, Cost per Hour, and other operational benchmarks.
Provide strong leadership to terminal staff, enhancing employee engagement and retention through development and support.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships between ConGlobal and local railroad officers, ensuring smooth operations.
Serve as the key point of contact between ConGlobal and customers, fostering strong customer relationships and addressing concerns as needed.
Enforce and uphold all ConGlobal rules, regulations, and policies, administering disciplinary actions when required.
Oversee terminal purchases and ensure expenditures are kept within budget while approving payments.
Approve weekly time and attendance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll data.
Work closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure the terminal is adequately staffed and operational needs are met.
Manage the training and orientation process for all new employees, setting them up for success and ongoing development.
Provide regular terminal metrics and reports to management as needed, tracking performance against goals.
Perform other administrative and non-administrative duties as assigned by senior.
