This position is responsible for handling a high volume of telephone calls, checking in drivers, entering delivery manifest data, and imaging/scanning documents. The role also involves identifying freight bills with special delivery instructions, distributing bills of lading, entering data into the dispatch system, and working with driver handhelds. Additionally, the Terminal Clerk will contact customers to coordinate delivery times and schedule appointments for freight delivery. Regular attendance is required, and employees must be able to perform all assigned duties, which may include tasks beyond this list due to operational, safety, or other needs. Employees are expected to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities, demonstrating a high level of comprehension and concentration to meet deadlines.
