The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is responsible for delivering public health and human services to the county's most vulnerable residents, operating over 120 programs at more than 20 locations with over 2,000 employees. The Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services (CABHS) in Silver Spring is seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and professional term therapist to make a meaningful impact on underserved individuals and families. CABHS provides individual and family therapy, as well as clinical case management, for uninsured children, adolescents, and families, or those with Medical Assistance. As a therapist, you will offer individual, group, family, and school-based services to clients facing barriers to mental health and substance use services, conducting sessions in-person and via telehealth in clinic and school settings. You will work with a diverse team, collaborate with internal and external partners, and be dedicated to fostering positive change. A pre-employment background check, medical exam, and drug screening are required.
