About The Position

The Department of Natural Sciences at Pitzer and Scripps Colleges is seeking a tenure-track teacher-scholar for its organic chemistry program. The role involves leading a student-centered undergraduate research program in computational chemistry, with opportunities to teach upper-level electives and courses for non-science majors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, develop a vibrant research program engaging undergraduates, and be committed to improving student learning. The appointment is at the Assistant Professor level, beginning July 1, 2027.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in a chemistry-related field.
• Record of scholarly publication.
