About The Position

Radford University invites applications for a Tenure-Track Open-Rank Faculty position in the School of Social Work. This is a nine-month position beginning in August 2027. Primary responsibilities will be teaching courses in the BSW and MSW programs in both the Radford and Roanoke social work program options (includes online and evenings), advising, recruitment, university service, and professional contributions. Requirements

• Ph.D. in social work or related field or a DSW, and an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
• ABD candidates whose degree completion is within nine months of the hire date will be considered but will be hired at the rank of Instructor.

• Interest in or experience with rural health
• At least two years post-MSW social work direct practice experience who are LCSW-eligible.
