About The Position

Audubon Country Club in Naples, Florida, is hiring a part-time Tennis Shop Attendant. The role supports shop operations and provides professional service to members, guests, and outside patrons in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. The attendant handles reservations, point-of-sale transactions, merchandise sales, shop presentation, inventory, and general cleaning, and may coordinate with coaches to support orderly starts and play times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties, including communicating with English-speaking customers or coworkers and using equipment manuals.
• Computer proficiency, including point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office applications, social media, and tennis-related programs such as tennisdirector.com or ClubAutomation.

Nice To Haves

• Active tennis player with knowledge of the game.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop opening and closing procedures as determined by management.
• Maintain accountability for point-of-sale transactions.
• Collect applicable fees from members, guests, and outside patrons upon arrival.
• Make court, clinic, lesson, and special-event reservations in person or by phone.
• Assist guests with merchandise sales and provide information professionally.
• Rotate stock and keep displays clean and orderly.
• Assist with general shop cleaning.
• Assist the shop supervisor with creating appealing displays.
• Assist with monthly physical inventories.
• May work with coaches to facilitate orderly start and play times.
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required or needed.
