About The Position

TGA of North Central NJ is seeking passionate individuals to teach tennis and/or pickleball to children aged 5-14. TGA utilizes youth sports to impart skills, character development, and proper etiquette in a fun and safe environment, often at schools or community centers. The role offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities to work from 1 to 6 days per week, earning 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours per day during the summer. Both lead and assistant coach positions are available. Extensive coaching experience is not required as TGA provides training on their curriculum. Programs run year-round across Northern NJ, with efforts to schedule coaches near their homes and compensation for travel exceeding 10 miles. The company is looking to hire 3-5 coaches for the Fall season for part-time positions.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Available during after school hours during the week (2:30pm and later).
Reliable source of transportation.
Ability to step out of your comfort zone and be a kid.
Passion for working with kids and coaching sports.
Clean background check.
High energy, flexible schedule, punctual, passionate, and creative.
Comfortable communicating with kids, as well as parents.
Commit to at least one full session (sessions are by season).
