About The Position

Join the team as an Elementary Tennis Coach, providing fun and engaging tennis classes for children in Grades K–3 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. The program promotes physical activity and skill development. Coaches and assistant coaches are sought who are passionate about working with children; previous tennis teaching or playing experience is not required.

The position is part-time and in person, with a flexible schedule of approximately 2–5 hours per week. Classes take place on weekdays between 1:00 and 5:00 PM, last 1–1.5 hours, and may also have weekend opportunities. Training and coaching support are provided, and there may be opportunities to coach other sports or grow into a Lead Coach role. The posting lists compensation as both $18.00–$28.00 per hour and $50.00–$65.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoys working with children.
• Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to complete a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Tennis playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
