About The Position

Join the team as an Elementary Tennis Coach, providing fun and engaging tennis classes for students in grades K–3 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. The role is open to coaches and assistant coaches who are passionate about working with children; previous tennis teaching or playing experience is not required. The program promotes physical activity and skill development.

Classes take place on weekdays between 1:00 and 5:00 PM, with possible weekend opportunities. Classes last 1–1.5 hours, and the flexible schedule is approximately 2–5 hours per week. The position is part-time and in person at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. The posting lists compensation as $18.00–$28.00 per hour and also separately states $50.00–$65.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoys working with children.
• Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to complete a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Tennis playing or coaching experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
