About The Position

The Amenities Attendant is a hospitality position responsible for maintaining a safe and clean aquatic recreational area for guests or residents and/or other amenity or common areas under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager. This role involves greeting guests, validating their access to amenities, monitoring various facilities like tennis courts and clubhouses, and ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations. The attendant is also responsible for documenting daily activities, reporting maintenance issues, and assisting other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a related position
  • The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment
  • The ability to convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stressful situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other staff
  • Must be able to work well with others as the role will require cooperation from other team members
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to organize and prioritize

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a luxury property, club or hotel is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests in a standing upright position as they enter the clubhouse of the community maintaining the highest quality of customer service
  • Within the property, validate guests and residents’ use of the property’s amenities (Ex: pool area, spa, fitness center, tennis court, basketball court etc.)
  • Follow all “check-in” policies and procedures without any exceptions
  • Report any violations of the Rules and Regulations that are observed, according the procedures established
  • Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
  • Monitor tennis courts and other clubhouse amenities and advise the Property Manager of any issues or violations of the established rules and regulations
  • Document daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Report all maintenance items which include, but is not limited to, burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment to the Property Manager
  • Ensure residents and registered guests are complying with Association Rules and Regulations
  • Remove any loose debris or trash in area
  • Complete daily check list
  • Assist other departments as time allows on projects and duties as assigned
  • Assist Front Desk as needed
