About The Position

A NYC-based family is seeking an experienced, engaging travel nanny to join them in Mykonos, Greece, for approximately 3–6 weeks between August 1st and September 7th. The nanny will help care for their three children, aged 1, 3, and 5 years. The schedule is flexible. The family will be staying at their in-laws' home, and the nanny will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom. No driving or pets are involved.

Requirements

Previous experience supporting private families when they travel.
Confident setting appropriate boundaries.
Ability to be firm when needed.
Open communication with parents as situations arise.
Ability to work collaboratively with parents while also stepping confidently into sole charge when appropriate.
Valid US Passport, Green Card, or EAC.
Up-to-date passport.

Nice To Haves

French language skills.
Norland trained nannies.

Responsibilities

Providing attentive childcare, with care naturally ebbing and flowing between sole charge and working alongside the parents.
A "divide and conquer" approach is anticipated—for example, taking the older children out while another adult spends time with the baby.
General children's food preparation.
Children's laundry.
Awareness and careful management of severe food allergies (all nuts and sesame).
General support around the children as needed.
