About The Position
This is a temporary position for a SPED Resource Room and Life Skills Teacher for the remainder of the 2026-2027 School Year, located at Clark Elementary within Uinta County School District #1, Evanston, Wyoming. The role involves teaching students with cognitive disabilities, managing their personal hygiene and medical needs, and working in both inclusionary settings and pullout programs. The teacher will also supervise multiple paraprofessionals.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for a Wyoming Teaching Certificate and SPED K-12 Generalist Certificate.
- Experience and knowledge of Reading, Language Arts and/or Math.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with curriculum, teaching techniques, and general procedures associated with special education.
- Ability to be a contributing member of a team working for the benefit of each individual student.
Nice To Haves
- Life skills and/or severe profound training/certification.
