About The Position

The Sales Support Associate plays an integral role in the store’s success and efficiency, delivering on Coach’s brand commitment through friendly, efficient customer service at the cash wrap and a well-maintained sales floor. The role supports the flow of product from receipt through point of sale, with an emphasis on accurate and effective work. The position includes welcoming and assisting customers, operating the POS, maintaining cash-wrap organization, processing shipments and transfers, managing stock, replenishing the sales floor, and supporting visual merchandising and other sales-floor activities. Associates are expected to maintain housekeeping standards and follow Loss Prevention guidelines. This is a temporary position. The schedule must be flexible to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays. The role involves regularly lifting at least 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as climbing, bending, kneeling, and moving around the sales floor and stockroom.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous retail experience, such as cashier, stock, or sales experience; luxury retail service experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Current knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.
Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including use of an iPad or laptop, Mobile POS, and the Internet; ability to use a walkie-talkie and understand and read price and product release sheets.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong English language proficiency (for EU).
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.
Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Responsibilities

Welcome clients warmly and professionally, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized assistance.
Serve as a brand ambassador within the store and local market, and support social media engagement.
Operate the POS accurately, keep the cash wrap organized, and handle cash and other media in accordance with policy.
Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted.
Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates.
Support sales-floor activities, respond confidently to customer requests, and partner with the team or management as needed.
Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines.
