About The Position

Professor Makaroff is seeking a temporary Research Associate to coordinate joint computational and experimental work with Harvard University. This role involves coordinating WPI-MGH joint computational and experimental research work with Professor Fried and his team on activation/inhibition of cortical neurons by magnetic microstimulation (micro-coils), and simulation of coil fields in a dense cellular environment.

Requirements

  • Biomedical engineer with knowledge of neuronal activation and interactions including synaptic activation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of NEURON software is a plus.
