About The Position

This Temporary Production Assistant position involves general video production, including studio, field, editing, and graphics design. The role requires performing video production work both on-site and on location. The incumbent will need to drive to various locations and may be responsible for transporting production equipment, especially to areas not accessible by public transportation. Additionally, the position includes assisting with equipment set-ups and strikes, performing general office work as needed, and undertaking other assigned related tasks. The duration of the position is 9 months, with weekly hours varying from less than 20 to more than 30 based on production needs.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License required, as the incumbent will be required to drive a vehicle for local travel
• Must have excellent organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience and technical production skills, including but not limited to studio, single camera field, multi camera field, editing (Final Cut/Avid), audio, graphics and directing
• Experience with Public, Educational, Government Access television
