About The Position
Kearns Recreation Center 5670 South 4800 West Kearns, UT 84118 385.468.1715 The Kearns Recreation Center hires part-time and seasonal staff to work in our recreation and youth sports programs. Hours are flexible and we provide opportunities for required training. We are looking for motivated, reliable, people-friendly staff in the following areas: Childcare Large Van Drivers (no CDL license needed) Classroom Teachers Kitchen Workers Summer Camp Counselor Customer Service Team Front Desk Attendant Afternoon/Evening Custodial Background Check Information Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements. TEMPORARY POSITIONS: An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month. Must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month. Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy. Are not considered merit employees. Are "at will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
