About The Position

Supports the Operations Ministry while gaining hands-on experience in emergency management, facilities operations, and organizational planning.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the organization.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have a servant-hearted attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an office or administrative role.
• Familiarity with emergency management principles.
• Experience with facilities management or operations.
• Knowledge of organizational planning or project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, review, and revision of policies, procedures, and operational plans.
• Support emergency management, business continuity, and preparedness planning initiatives.
• Assist with facilities inspections, documentation, and operational assessments.
• Help maintain inventories and service readiness records for equipment and ministry assets.
• Assist with environmental, life safety, and risk management projects.
• Support the development and organization of training materials, lesson plans, and operational documentation.
• Perform research, data collection, record keeping, and administrative support for departmental projects.
• Assist with special projects and ministry events as assigned.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a servant-hearted attitude while representing the Operations Ministry.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
