About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join the Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston Marlborough team as a Temporary On-Call Banquet Server for September and October. This role offers a flexible, on-call schedule, providing an excellent opportunity to earn extra income before the holidays. The position involves setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, providing outstanding guest service, and assisting with event breakdown and cleanup. While previous banquet or restaurant experience is a plus, training will be provided for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours. Reliability, punctuality, and a team-player mentality are essential. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Requirements
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours based on event schedules
- Previous banquet or restaurant experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Engaging and welcoming personality
- 2-4 years of food service experience
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
