About The Position

The Temporary Maintenance position is based at the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton, Oklahoma. The role performs maintenance and repairs, helps secure the building and grounds, maintains museum exhibits, organizes and cleans artifact storage areas, and keeps bathrooms supplied and maintained. This is a part-time, temporary position paying $13.14 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs, including monitoring and changing light bulbs, changing filters, cleaning HVAC ducts, patching and painting walls, and other maintenance duties.
• Assist with building and grounds security by periodically monitoring the structure, contents, and public safety.
• Clean and maintain all museum exhibits daily.
• Organize and clean artifact storage areas.
• Maintain bathrooms, including replenishing paper products, soap, and similar materials, and notify the supervisor when supplies are low so they can be reordered.
