We are hiring (1) Part-time, Temporary Position(s). This temporary position will end October 31, 2026, the scheduled hours for this position will be 20 hours per week. Part-time employees are paid hourly; the monthly salary will be prorated (the salary range listed in the job announcement applies to full-time positions). Part-time employees are eligible for benefits and holiday pay on a prorated basis, according to their work schedule. Opportunity awaits! Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for this position.
- One year of experience working in a human services or behavioral health setting; OR
- An associate degree in any field; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children and youth in a human services capacity.
- Builds rapport with children and families through warm, respectful, and strength-based interactions.
- Experience communicating clearly and respectfully with children, families, caregivers, and professionals across varied cultural and community contexts.
Responsibilities
- Stay with and supervise children throughout the day or night in temporary lodging and transport them to different destinations as needed.
- Focus on in-home safety planning and prevention, when not in temporary lodging, by providing detailed documentation, support, engagement, and promptly reporting any concerns.
- Review and implement supervisory and safety plans, while also supporting their behavior and emotional needs.
- Maintain care for children related to hygiene, basic needs, school attendance, appointments, and transportation.
- Treat people with compassion and dignity, ensuring that children and family members feel respected and valued.
