About The Position
Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for a defined, short-term hospice assignment. This role is ideal for a CNA who wants meaningful work with a predictable weekday schedule—without weekends, or a long-term commitment.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Organized, dependable, and patient-centered
Nice To Haves
- Hospice or home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
- Follow individualized care plans and hospice protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
