About The Position

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Temporary Facilities Event Staff team to support operations during Gettysburg Bike Week. This position requires mandatory availability from July 8th through July 12th. This role is essential in helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized property throughout the event weekend. Team members will assist with property upkeep, restroom maintenance, trash removal, and responding to cleanup needs in high-traffic areas.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available to work July 8th–July 12th
• Strong work ethic and reliability required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic event environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying summer weather conditions
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial, janitorial, maintenance, or event experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining cleanliness throughout the property during the event
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas
• Monitor and maintain restroom facilities to ensure they remain clean, stocked, and operational
• Respond quickly to spills, accidents, and facility-related cleanup needs
• Assist with bodily fluid cleanup and sanitation procedures in accordance with safety standards
• Support general event cleanup and property upkeep throughout each shift
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management
• Assist the Facilities team with additional operational tasks as needed during the event
