Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Position requires a background check to be completed. Findings may disqualify an individual for this position
Demonstrated ability to work without supervision.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver’s qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 30 days of employment.
Able to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership, field personnel, and clientele

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all private and public areas to ensure that users of the facility receive safe, effective, and acceptable service.
Maintain the facilities by cleaning, repairing, and replacing fixtures and equipment as necessary to assure a safe and productive facility.
Adhere to, and if necessary, reorganize the daily custodial schedule of the building internally and externally. This includes but is not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, cleaning windows, vacuuming, emptying trash, etc.
Maintain the grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, property upkeep, security, traffic control of outside venues, etc., under the supervision and instruction of the Facility Director
Assist in the execution of events as directed by a supervisor.
