About The Position

This temporary position involves assisting the public with various election-related tasks, including voter registration, absentee voting, and data entry. The role requires a registered voter in Converse County and offers approximately 20 hours per week from early July through mid-November. This is not a benefited position.

Requirements

• Must be a registered voter in Converse County.
• Ability to assist the public via phone with absentee requests.
• Ability to assist the public with data entry into election system.
• Ability to file completed and verified voter registration forms and absentee ballot request forms.
• Ability to assist with processing of early absentee ballots.
• Develop understanding of Converse County Voter District and Precinct numbers.
• Assist with public testing processes, election staging and preparation, and other election duties and tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist the public within the statutory 28-day period prior to each election for absentee voting.
• Assist the public in person with voter registration, absentee voting, and absentee ballot requests.
• Assist the public via phone with absentee requests.
• Assist the public with data entry into the election system.
• File completed and verified voter registration forms and absentee ballot request forms.
• Assist with processing of early absentee ballots.
• Develop understanding of Converse County Voter District and Precinct numbers.
• Assist with public testing processes, election staging and preparation, and other election duties and tasks as assigned.
