About The Position
The Temporary Day Laborer (Lumper) assists warehouse personnel with the safe and efficient unloading of shipping containers.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical work.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Manually unload cartons from ocean containers.
- Stack and palletize cartons in a safe and organized manner.
- Wrap completed pallets for transport and storage.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Assist with general warehouse cleanup and material handling as needed.
