Job Summary: Morton Salt's Silver Springs, NY location has an opening(s) for Temporary College Student Summer Worker starting at the end of May. The right individual(s) will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including working within different areas throughout the plant.
Requirements
- Currently attending college.
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation and maintenance.
- Ability to understand the systems and equipment used at the facility.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Will at all times be alert to safety conditions and will strictly adhere to all safety requirements, quality control guidelines, environmental policies/procedures and other plant policies.
- Be familiar with Food & Safety and Quality programs within the plant.
Benefits
- Starting rate of $24.02 per hour.
