Temporary Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach
About The Position
Assist the Ball State University Volleyball program by providing instructional and operational support during practices, camps, and team-related activities. This position contributes to teaching and developing student-athletes’ skills and supports the program’s daily operations in alignment with University, NCAA, and Mid-American Conference guidelines. The role assists with coaching and instruction, camp and event operations, program support, and compliance with applicable regulations. The position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and eligibility to drive a University vehicle. Successful completion of a background check and education verification is required. Applicants should submit a resume via Workday and enter all work history directly into the application fields.

Responsibilities
- Assist with individual and team skill instruction during practices, camps, and clinics.
- Support practice plans developed by the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches.
- Provide feedback and technical guidance to student-athletes under staff supervision.
- Assist with setup, operation, and supervision of volleyball camps and clinics.
- Help ensure participant safety and adherence to camp policies and procedures.
- Support registration, facility setup, and equipment organization.
- Assist with on-court drills, warmups, and practice execution.
- Help maintain equipment, balls, and practice spaces.
- Provide operational support as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Operations.
- Adhere to Ball State University, NCAA, and Mid-American Conference regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in program-related activities.
- Represent the volleyball program positively in interactions with student-athletes, staff, and community members.
- Perform additional responsibilities as determined by the Head Coach.
