About The Position

This position is responsible for seeking out and recording the lowest product temperature. The role involves performing temperature inspections on a wide range of products, completing required paperwork, and notifying appropriate personnel of any temperature deviations. The individual must ensure all equipment is calibrated and recorded prior to the start of the shift. Additionally, the role requires active participation as a team member, fostering cohesiveness, and supporting team initiatives. Familiarity with Simmons' operating systems, including quality and security, is expected, along with the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas. The position also involves performing other duties as necessary to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass written entrance exam (plant-specific).
• Communication skills & decision quality - Must have the ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively with others and leadership team.

• Some poultry experience preferred.

Responsibilities
