About The Position

This is a temporary position for the summer months. The role involves providing a variety of case management, skills training, and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, severe and persistent mental illness, and chemical dependency. The position also includes advocating for client benefits, providing life skills training, and collaborating with the treatment team to connect clients with community resources. A strong understanding of evidence-based practices such as group and one-on-one counseling, treatment planning, assessments, and referrals is essential.

Requirements

• BA degree in social work, behavioral health, or related field OR Three years combination of education and work experience with individuals with severe or persistent mental illness, or alcohol and drug dependency
• Qualification as a Qualified Mental Health Associate - R (QMHA-R) through MHACBO
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of background check

• Experience with electronic medical records and telemedicine
