About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring temperature via digital thermometer and ensuring products have passed all critical control points while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Taking temperatures and accurately documenting the product cook and frozen temperatures on process control charts. Present data in an organized, legible manner and graph data on SPC chart. Notify production Supervisor according to written procedures in HACCP and Prerequisite programs. Locate, identify production and/or HACCP personnel. Learn and record information in Plant View Systems. Follow CNQ/HACCP plan and all USDA. This position works on weekends. All other duties assigned by Supervisor. This position constantly communicates with Team Members and supervisors, therefore, requires good and effective communication skills written and oral. Must be able to read and write temps and any other paperwork required by USDA and CNQ guidelines. Must be able to do simple math as this is needed when collecting temperatures.

Requirements

  • Three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last 12 months
  • Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
