About The Position
Blaze is currently hiring for a Teller at our Vadnais Heights branch. At Blaze we focus on people, not profits. As a member of our team, you will be working with a diverse and experienced group of people dedicated to helping members meet all their financial needs. Along with helping members reach their goals, Blaze has created a work environment where employees can advance their personal career through promotion, transfers, and branch growth. Blaze is pleased to offer a sign-on bonus for this position. New hires are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid over one year. Candidates with Fiserv DNA experience are eligible for a $5,500 sign-on bonus, paid over two years.
Requirements
- Minimum High School degree or equivalent
- Minimum of one year customer service experience
- Minimum of one year cash handling experience
- Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs.
- Well organized, efficient, detail-oriented and able to work independently or on a team
- Ability to proactively respond to members/staff to problem solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified
Nice To Haves
- Previous financial service experience a plus
- Fiserv DNA experience
- Skill of selling, including the ability to identify member's needs to explain features and benefits of Blaze services and to close sales opportunities

- Engage with our members, listen to them, and understand their situations
- Educate our members on what Blaze can do for them
- Process transactions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with accuracy and professionalism
- Grow with us by using the tools provided to stay on top of financial industry trends, products, services and training opportunities
- Enjoy working next to your Blaze teammates and managers helping each other to succeed
- Provide members with excellent service through face-to-face interactions on a daily basis
