About The Position

Contribute to DCU’s Success Sharing and business goals by identifying members’ needs, providing service excellence and helping members achieve their financial goals. This role involves accurately processing all teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing, as well as assisting with end of day balancing. You will also be responsible for understanding and explaining all DCU products and services, completing member requests, and achieving individual referral goals by identifying the financial needs of new and existing members. Building strong business relationships and educating members on appropriate products and services is key. Adherence to all DCU policies and procedures, including security compliance and guidelines to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses, is mandatory. The role may also involve providing coverage in other DCU areas such as other branches, the Information Center, or support departments. Continuous identification and submission of efficiency and process improvement ideas are encouraged, along with performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Technical skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
