The Teller position is responsible for delivering a welcoming and professional experience for all customers by addressing their needs promptly and courteously. This role involves assisting customers with routine inquiries related to accounts, transactions, and services, ensuring a positive banking experience. Tellers will identify opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services, referring them to other team members when necessary, and resolve basic customer concerns while escalating complex issues to the appropriate branch personnel. Additionally, Tellers accurately and efficiently process customer transactions, maintain a balanced cash drawer, ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all transactions, and support branch operations. This role also involves adhering to all bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, monitoring for and reporting any suspicious activity, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and completing assigned administrative tasks. Collaboration with branch team members, participation in training opportunities, and support for other branch functions are also key aspects of this role.
