About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through attentive service, care, and accuracy. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping identify customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers connect customers with bankers for detailed product conversations and work with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching, and the role offers exposure to retail banking and opportunities for career growth. The position is part-time and located at 3360 55th St NW, Rochester, MN 55901. The schedule will include Saturdays. The base pay range is $20.00–$26.00; pay may vary based on factors including performance, skills, experience, and work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and direct them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or appropriate team members.
Build relationships and listen to customers to understand everyday financial needs; connect them to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, use active listening, clarify needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures and fulfill risk and compliance obligations, including escalating and remediating issues appropriately.
