About The Position

Leverage your customer service and cashiering experience to jumpstart your career with Oregon State Credit Union. As the front line of the branch, Tellers play a vital role in creating positive member experiences and building genuine connections every day. As a Teller, you will assist members with essential financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing. You will also consult with members to understand their needs and provide solutions that support their best financial interest, help resolve basic account inquiries, and support daily branch balancing activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Requirements

  • At least six months of relevant customer service or retail experience required.
  • Prior cash handling experience and general computer/keyboarding skills highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve challenges using available resources and maintain composure and professionalism in demanding situations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, including BSA/AML/OFAC requirements.
  • Must be available for work Mon-Fri between the hours of 8 am and 6:15 pm.
  • Must be able to demonstrate that they have the legal right to work in the US.
  • Must pass a background screening to the satisfaction of Oregon State Credit Union.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred. Candidates who demonstrate proficiency in Spanish are eligible for a language pay differential.
