Requirements
- High school diploma required
- No experience required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of member information
- Ability to work collaboratively within the branch environment
- Strong communication and sales skills
- High degree of responsibility and integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Continued education through selected training courses
- Flexible about work hours and shifts to accommodate business and member needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a front-line member service representative in branches.
- Facilitate members with daily transactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve a member’s financial life using Connex’s products and services.
- Consistently meet referral goals for Connex products and member credit report reviews.
- Process transactions accurately and courteously, whether face-to-face or via Personal Teller Machines.
- Maintain a professional and efficient branch environment.
- Follow all security protocols.
- Balance personal cashboxes and vault (in absence of Service Coordinator).
- Foster a positive work environment with fellow staff.
- Maintain an excellent knowledge of products and services for recommendations and referrals.
- Deliver superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory, and audit guidelines.
- Utilize problem-solving skills and think independently to resolve member issues.
- Meet goals consistently and contribute to the fulfillment of all Connex Credit Union goals.
- Project a professional and friendly image at all times, including a positive attitude, composure, and a clear, energetic, and welcoming speaking voice.
