About The Position
Tellers are the face of M&T within our branches. Our customers enter with needs and leave feeling like we have their backs. As a Teller with M&T Bank, you’ll be an important member of our branch team as we build relationships with customers, process their transactions, and help them understand options available to them. We’ll provide on-the-job training in teller skills. If you’re reliable, friendly, and ready to deliver excellent customer service, we’re ready for you.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including either cash handling or data entry experience
Responsibilities
- Welcome all bank visitors with a warm and friendly smile
- Listen to customers and understand their needs
- Educate customers on products and services available to them
- Accurately and efficiently process teller transactions
- Support operational needs such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfer, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and compliance-related tasks
- Support a diverse environment that supports the M&T Bank brand
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Benefits
- $20 per hour + benefits
- $22 per hour + commission + benefits
- $24.00 per hour + commission + benefits
