About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a part-time Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller processes transactions accurately and provides a welcoming, reliable experience as a primary point of contact for branch customers. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers understand customer needs and introduce relevant products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and refer them to bankers for detailed product conversations. They work closely with branch teammates to maintain smooth daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking with potential for long-term growth and career mobility, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 8812 Corbin Ave, Northridge, CA 91324. The schedule includes Saturdays. The base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Clarify customer needs and provide clear, simple solutions or next steps through strong communication and active listening.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
