About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a part-time Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions, provides a welcoming and reliable experience, learns about customers’ needs, and connects them with relevant services, digital tools, or bankers. The position works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent customer experience. It provides exposure to retail banking and opportunities for long-term career growth through Wells Fargo training, coaching, and team-based support. The role requires a schedule that includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately while exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
