Requirements

Minimum of six (6) months of customer service and/or cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

Identify member needs through active listening and thoughtful questioning beyond the immediate transaction.
Strengthen relationships by recognizing returning members and personalizing service whenever possible.
Represent Trax’s service culture through enthusiasm, empathy, and professionalism.
Accurately process member cash and check transactions in person and through the mail.
Maintain proper security and cash control, including checks and other negotiable instruments.
Complete balancing reports and required documentation within established timeframes.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of credit union products and services and recommend solutions that meet member needs.
Conduct member follow-up calls to strengthen relationships and identify additional opportunities.
Promote and protect the interests of the credit union at all times.
Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
