About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network in a customer-focused, front-line role. The Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions while providing a welcoming and reliable experience. The role represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and care, while building foundational banking skills and learning about customers’ needs. Tellers introduce customers to relevant products, services, and digital tools, and connect them with bankers for more detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position offers exposure to retail banking and potential long-term career growth supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is part-time and located at 6460 Platt Ave, West Hills, CA 91307. The schedule will include Saturdays. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The stated base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; pay may vary based on factors including performance, skills, experience, and work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers to deliver a positive and reliable branch experience.
Process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking methods, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs, connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and listen actively to clarify customer needs and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
