Position Overview As a Teller at 802 Credit Union, you will play a key role in ensuring our members receive exceptional service in every interaction. You’ll be the face of our branch, responsible for providing day-to-day account services, assisting with transactions, and helping our members with their financial needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic math skills and comfort handling cash.
  • Ability to use computer systems and perform basic office tasks.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or banking experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members with a friendly, positive attitude and assist them with a variety of services such as deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and loan payments.
  • Accurately process cash and check transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • Help members with account maintenance such as balance inquiries, stop payments, and address any concerns or inquiries they may have.
  • Educate members on additional services and products they could benefit from, such as credit cards, loans, or online banking services.
  • Process transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure all banking activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with your team and management to ensure smooth operations and meet branch goals.
