About The Position
We are looking for a temporary 6-month Teller to join our Fort St. John Branch. As a Teller with Beem Credit Union, you are a key contributor to the financial success of our company. You actively fulfill the basic needs of our members and look for opportunities to refer or cross sell additional products or services. Requirements
- 1-3 years of job-related experience in a service-oriented environment, including experience as a Teller or Cashier
- High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
- Calculate foreign and domestic exchange, order and cash cheques, process deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, Treasury, MTS Wires, and open/close personal accounts and print statements.
- Build partnerships by effectively communicating with employees and members and accessing the needed information to meet needs.
- Process all daily balancing duties.
- Follow proper policy and security procedures.
- Recognize member needs and promote Beem products and services and refer more complex requests to appropriate CU professional.
- Prepare and reconcile Central 1 deposits.
